Thank you. There's no one like you. I will read anything you write. The detail, the thorough exploration. I knew this story but I still learned something. Thank you for making it seem fresh this many years later.

Excellent historical article and just one of the hundreds of crimes perpetrated by the FBI. Having been in law enforcement for over 50 years, I can recall the days when the FBI agents were authorized for break-ins and/or wiretaps by a memo signed by Hoover. I've never trusted or had any use of the FBI since that day.

I think your experience has been echoed by many, many individuals in law enforcement who've had the "experience" of working beside the FBI. American society has been monitored by thousands if not more paid FBI informants on every level. Their network of pernicious paid informants is extensive and probably illegal since they have no particular crime to inform about but are just scattered through out society. The list of paid informants is centralized in D.C. and should be scrutinized as to the necessity and legality of having this type of free floating surveillance network at all. East Germany would be proud of the FBI's efforts to keep its citizens under the glare of the State's unblinking eye. All bought and paid for by those same citizens tax dollars.

The FBI has been run as a private fiefdom since the crossdressing blackmailer Hoover ran it.

Time to DISBAND it and the CIA, who truly accomplish nothing but wasting tax dollars. Expand the US Marshals to replace the corrupt FBI and set up a new Intel agency along the lines of the Mossad, who actually PROTECT their Nation.

Boy did you hit the nail on the head. The FBI's DNA was mutated by its first Director and has never recovered; nor will it. They are systemically corrupt and have operated in a moral vacuum ever since the beginning. Like the KGB they are a creature of politics. Not even close to being a law enforcement agency. They need to be disbanded and their duties taken over by actual competent agencies. FBI is very powerful and unaccountable to anyone even the Courts of America. Power and unaccountability is a very toxic brew that can only lead to tyranny and abuse on epic levels. All the ginned-up publicity and phony TV shows won't ever do anything to reform this out of control organization. By their actions they have forfeited any trust that American's might have harbored for them. In fact, like the East German and Nazi police organizations they have become the enemies of the people they are supposed to serve. Some individuals may be great people but the organization is rotten to its' very core. Nothing short of a total de-funding will eliminate this menace to our freedom.

Perfectly said. The FBI has been against the US People since their ContIntelPro days of the 60s.

I would even posit that their actions in very high profile cases back in the 1930's and before were pretty unscrupulous. The tracking and killings of high profile criminals was done by local and State police. FBI showed up and took all the credit. Hoover would stop at nothing to enhance the image of HIS "national" police organization.

The Church Committee did not even make a dent in their politically motivated "investigations" and the methods utilized to smear and attack individuals for their politics. The same tactics used against the anti-war community were amped up on steroids and turned on Trump. When exposed many in Congress closed ranks and protected the corrupt leadership of the FBI, who were openly Clinton supporters. Trump, for better or worse, was just a visible symbol of the rot that has been at the core of this organization since its inception. His detractors were only too happy to see the FBI undermining him and his Administration. What will be next if they turn on their Democrat supporters over something or other?

Congress better act since some retired FBI supervisors are urging, io TV, that anti- terrorism investigation be brought against elected officials whom the FBI believes have crossed some imagined line in the sand. Just like the KGB in the Soviet Union the political class will be monitored and surveilled by the intelligence organs of State. This FBI traitor has the nerve to appear on a national TV sow urging this type of tyranny against our own elected Congressional representatives. Pretty off the charts.

And of course, not one criminal FBI agent nor Hoover himself underwent the slightest consequence for these crimes, which in a just society would be have had them serving at least the same sentences as they criminally framed these men for.

Nothing ever happened to Lon Horiuchi either, did it? Or any crime-committing DOJ official or agent?

No, and Bill Barr got him out of what he did. Then Horiuchi was promoted and sent on to Waco to murder some more.

Trust no one. Trust anyone in the US DOJ/FBI, less than anyone. They have been corrupt ever since Hoover took the reigns back in the 1930's. Oh, certainly there USED TO BE ethical USAO's and FBI agents. However, after 30 years of non-stop leftist partisan hiring (i.e. Clinton, Obama Admins, and Bush having down nothing, not even removing partisan Democrat hack USAO's) and promotions, there's not an honest man or woman left in the DOJ, FBI, or the DHS. It's one authoritarian socialist partisan swamp of evil.

So, whatever Durham once did and why, and whatever the fake is doing now, is irrelevant. NEVER trust the credibility of any of them. If an FBI agent should show up on your doorstep asking directions, or even the time of day, consider your life and certainly your freedom, to be at dire risk. The FBI is lawless. Their agents are partisan thugs. I don't hate law enforcement or LEO's, but I've read, seen, and heard enough to understand that there cannot be a law abiding, ethical agent left in the FBI. They're all corrupted, even those who may not like what's been happening for the past decade, even so, they accept it, keep quiet, and aid the lawless FBI supervisors, and just keep drawing their pay even as they subvert the USA.

You have no idea what Mueller got away with in South Dakota after I sent The DOJ OIG Complaint that landed close enough to Thomas Tamm, that...The suppressed NSA wiretapping scandal came to light. Wiretapping used to facilitate politically motivated murders of US citizens suspected of representing me in a civil rights lawsuit. Guess who I am? I'm a targeted individual that FBI has continuously hounded and harassed using their infamous contractors who serve as fronts so The FBI can maintain a credibility that they do not earn, deserve, or polish. Make no mistake about how worthless and criminally minded the jack ass FBI is, was, and always will be.

J Edgar Hoover was a corrupt thug. He was the worst thing that happened to the FBI that was and still is corrupt.

I absolutely believe that the FBI has been dirty since its founding; when the leader is dirty, it taints everything. Maybe not right away, but it is there, and it only grows that longer that it is allowed to flourish. In this case, for almost 40 years of continuing and growing rot, until Hoover's death, and leadership since then that has only continued his work; secretive, illegal, and clearly of the opinion that 'the ends justify the means', which is the worst possible option for any law enforcement agency or officer/agent, particularly an agency/officer/agent with such existing, and growing, power.

Yes, there has been some good things that came from the FBI, but as the saying goes, Hitler got the trains to run on time; so what? Their REAL legacy is of deceit, obstructionism, false charges, breaking the very laws that they are charged to uphold, and the untold number of innocent people convicted on their lies. The only portion of the agency I'd even consider keeping is that part that deals with child pornography and trafficking, but even that only after long consideration and investigation: as for the rest, in a sewer that deep, that pervasive, that long-lasting and clearly built to last longer, there are few or no clean hands; even if someone wasn't involved, they knew about it at some level; eff 'em.

All the letter security offices appear in part compromised. Each one should be investigated to the fullest degree. Or start over. Give them a new name for a new Constitutional Government.

They still do this. My father was the auditing accountant for a start up company that was raising capitol to build prefab, sustainable homes. One of the men was a criminal and a pedophile who was bringing in shady investors and promising things that no one else was to get the capitol, and he was pocketing portions of the money that he was getting from the investors without reporting it to the company. He used that money to take his girlfriend's 13 year old daughter and her best friend to Hawaii for a week, and then turned informant for the FBI. My dad is the only one who did not go to jail, and yet my dad could prove that that the only one doing wrong was the one guy according to the books. But as the Federal Attorney kept saying to the jury, why would the FBI lie?

Welcome to the world of frame-ups, lies and US Attorneys who turn blind eye to the FBI's illegal and bogus investigations. Many innocent men rotted in jail because of this unholy alliance. Judges sit there and are complicit in this charade. It is the way of every gov't on the planet. We expected better from Americas but people are the same everywhere. Power is a drug that makes people soulless monsters willing to ruin people's lives for a promotion or just because they can. You want to see evil incarnate just look in the eyes of a prosecutors who have sent men to the death chamber without even a second thought. Many African Americans in the South were legally lynched by the justice system since the Civil War.

Another DOJ file linking Durham and Mueller -

The file that Bill Barr also was reading as he was preparing to take office as Attorney General ... which led him to immediately order the wind-down of the Mueller forays at Trump impeachment

Shortly after that, Trump confidently tweeted a photo meme of Mueller in jail, with Trump saying that "Heroes will come of this, and it won’t be Mueller"

'Report on evidence of felonies violating Civil Rights, and bribery by foreign agents, implicating United States Special Counsel Robert S Mueller III as a criminally-tainted agent of foreign & racketeering interests'

DECLAS CoC

POTUS > Barr

Barr > DURHAM

[[F] classified intel provided [FVEY - Non FVEY] as needed]

Does DURHAM want to hold [freeze] 'public' declas due to criminal nature of the probe(s)?

Think GJ material.

When did the investigation begin?

When did the investigation really begin?

Nothing can stop what is coming.

Nothing.

Unfortunately, they left out the most important case of FBI framing & imprisonment. A man named Edgar Steele. A bogus "murder for hire" plot against his wife, involving a "Pipe bomb". IT was 100% fabricated. Even his wife said so. and, don't bother trying to read about it. The media participates in the cover up.
