Another eight infants and toddlers died, including five with preexisting conditions. In all, 14 Germans under 18 died of Covid, about one per month. About 1.5 million German children or adolescents were infected with Sars-Cov-2 between March 2020 and May 2021, the researchers found.
“Overall, the SARS-CoV-2-associated burden of a severe disease course or death in children and adolescents is low,” the researchers reported. “This seems particularly the case for 5-11-year-old children without comorbidities.”
The researchers reported their findings in an 18-page paper published to the medrxiv preprint server on Monday.
The data came from a registry Germany established in March 2020 intended to capture all hospitalizations of people under 18 with Covid. All German children’s hospitals, pediatric infectious disease specialists, and pediatric societies were invited to participate."

If these numbers are even remotely correct, we have almost 600 times higher mortality.

great article, thanks for coving this... i'm doing my best to follow the story closely (covid generally, wanning efficacy of the jabs, efficacy of boosters) and have not seen anyone else highlight this issue: lack of research examining costs/benefits of boosters in teenagers.
The horrible Nazi doctors from the 30's & 40's have been replaced by the cabal of gov't bureaucrats, gov't employed doctors and big Pharma. What is being foisted on the American public is as pernicious as the experiments that were prosecuted at Nuremberg. Might be time for someone to speak up. No one did in the Nazi era and humans were treated like animals and experimented on and many were killed.
Is history repeating itself? Doctors and scientists are NOT exempt from moral and legal considerations. Yet they go on without constraints.or ethical considerations. Who profits and is exempt from law suits? Big monstrous Pharma that is who.
The left will rue the day when the law suits come down on their individual heads like a ton of bricks eventually. True we can't sue big pharma but that just means the bricks will come down sooner and harder on those individuals and organizations that support this nonsense in their mad orgies of self sacrifice.
