Respectfully, I think you are being too kind with Bondi. She was working in FL during the Palm Beach case and it was discussed ad nauseum amongst the legal circles. The very best reporting about the entire case, in my opinion, was from you and The Palm Beach Post. They did some amazing FOIAs and got their hands on a lot of the email exchanges between the Epstein lawyers and Alex Acosta’s team. They also found the smoking gun where Epstein is named as a CHS (Confidential Human Source) for the FBI and claim that is why he got the sweetheart deal. Palm Beach had so many victims, some people number it between 75-100 and he actively recruited/groomed high schoolers. Bondi knows this case, I think she’s honestly, an idiot. I seriously hope Kash has stronger legal chops and manages to uncover better documentation and finally someone prosecutes the clients. Enough of the Mexican soap opera known as Pam Bondi.

We're being pretty gracious with the hopes that this is a one-time mistake by Bondi. Maybe too gracious. I'm not sure if Bondi has the right focus regarding what needs to be released. It's not just questions about Epstein's crimes, which have been well documented. It's about his connection to the government - whether it's the FBI or other agencies - and the reasons he was treated relatively well by the DOJ.

I share your reticence about Bondi. In order to truly unravel this Gordian knot, we need someone like Ken Paxton to cut through the chaff and countermeasures being sent to the DOJ.

And I frankly would not be surprised if there was a "blackmail" element in this.. actually more related to the CIA BLACK BOX OF BAD ACTORS...who have known sexually disgusting proclivities.. so for all I know he worked for the CIA and had a "SICK" time doing it. Nothing shocks me. I worked in medicine.. and have the WORST SIDE IN HUMANS. Thank GOD, I am Christian. MY STRENGTH and MY FAITH.

This is NOT PAM BONDI's purview, my friend: THIS IS THE FBI and now Kash Patel's purview and DAN Bongino.. which is why the TOTAL MANIAC MSM AND other left wing mind virus TDS are going after them.. the day AFTER IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT JOE BIDEN HAS "METASTATIC PROSTATE CANCER." I worked w/ Walter Reed and built a Prostate Cancer DB for the CPDR (Center for PROSTATE RESEARCH) and ALL MEN ARE TESTED for PROSTATE CANCER until they die. It can be a blood test for PSA. I worked in the UROLOGY CLINIC at Andrews in conjunction with Walter REED. I cannot believe the lies that are being told.. HONEST TO GOD. taking a break. my back is killing me.. for real. sigh. not because of news just tons of work to do all the time..

I think that both of them need to take this seriously. People are tired of the play. I also think the president should realize how people feel about transparency. We have been promised some. Now is the time for it to happen. Regardless of who is named. Also need to look into the Anthony Werner laptop.

Great analysis. Whats disappointing is that Trump folks knew about this before they took office. The fact the allegations involved the destruction of evidence on a high profile case with political implications demanded immediate action on the day Trump got sworn in by having a internal affair team go into the NYFD and seize the severs, case files and evidence.

Then began interviews of every person involved in the Epstein case.

Sadly nothing happened. And if the FBI NYFD didn’t provide the files as requested means the SAC and upper management is involved in the cover up.

Patel should be in NY tonight with a team of investigators and lock down the office and start investigating this mess.

GIVE IT TIME.. and you may get what you want BUT IT WON'T BE WHAT YOU THINK IT IS.. I assure you of that... THE LEFT WING NYFD AND THAT MIND VIRUS FBI.. up there will have to vomit it up.. one day or another. There is such a thing in my world medicine called TRIAGE: The American PEOPLE DEMANDED THE CRIMINAL ILLEGALS KICKED OUT. THEN GEOPOLITICAL RELATIONS W/ REGARD TO ENERGY and IRAN going NUCLEAR. I think that takes precedence.. but what do I know.. I think everyone is against NUCLEAR WAR.. or we could just be all fine dust.. and it won't matter.. in the LIGHT OF ETERNITY as good friend of mine used to say. !

Veteran former DOJ and J6 attorney Bill Shipley sounds light years ahead of Bondi:

Shipwreckedcrew@shipwreckedcrew

"If I was AG I would direct Dir. Patel to secure signed statements under oath from every NYFO Agent whose name appears in the case file -- and any agent who produces records in response to her letter today -- that they have provided the original or a copy of EVERY document they had access to, AND information about the current location of documents they do not possess but have an understanding of the location.

"False responses will be followed by termination and then prosecution.

"A refusal to sign will be subject to termination."

Not only what you said, Techno, but once Bondi realized the extent of the still thousands of pages of undisclosed records, why would she write Patel and ask for the thousands of pages to be put on her desk at 8 am Friday the 28th? How could thousands of pages be put on her desk in less than 24 hours? I doubt they're all in notebooks, just ready to be handed over. Obviously, they were being hidden. Bondi needs to take the time to get all of the thousands of documents, and to review them properly.

Good points. The process will be long - they not only need to review the documents (some won't be relevant), but they need to make proper redactions of victim and witness information.

And typically you don't see the DOJ release information relating to a criminal case until the appeals process has concluded. We've run into that problem with our Ghislaine Maxwell/Epstein FOIAs. Perhaps AG Bondi will make an exception in this case.

Damn straight! I felt this move today was NOT the right one for the Trump administration to make. They'd have been better off waiting longer and having something new than this crap. It just feels like a half-arse effort and I know that Bondi and Trump are not about half arsing it.

If they keep doing this Trump will quickly find he is loosing support.

Trish,I was on the fence about the Trayvon /Zimmerman debacle. Initially, I was on the side of Zimmerman, but for all the wrong reasons. I so despised Obama and Sharpton and their racialization of every damned thing ,particularly if a black person was injured or killed by a white or light complected Latino, no matter the situation that I jumped on the pro-Zimmerman train. But the more evidence that came out, the more skeptical I became. When the phone call with Zimmerman and the Sheriff’s Department was released, I was no longer cheering for Zimmerman, much though it pained me.The Sheriff was very specific in telling Zimmerman to not get out of his SUV under any circumstances. The cops were on the way. There was no mistaking what was said. It was raining and though Martin was tall and had the hood on his sweatshirt pulled up, he wasn’t running. Zimmerman had been following him in the SUV, keeping pace with Martin, which had to have been frightening. He wasn’t running big, looked like a thug and Martin called his dummy girlfriend , telling her the guy was following him. It was dark, the rain was coming down harder and Zimmerman got out of his vehicle and was following him on foot and coming at him fast, the kid was scared and took a quick turn , taking a shortcut where there was a break in the shrubbery, which would have placed him in the perimeter of the development. When Trayvon was a foot behind him, he turned around and shoved Zimmerman. Zimmerman fell and before Martin could turn around, Zimmerman shot him point blank in the chest. The cops pulled up seconds afterwards. Zimmerman was on his feet and taken to the station where he was whining about getting shoved and how “ injured “ he was.He had a cut on his head, wasn’t bleeding and at that point, seeing the thug whining like a little bitch, even knowing how Obama and the Dems would play it up, I knew Zimmerman was hellbent on killing him. Because he was Black and because Zimmerman was playing cop and itching to kill somebody.Had he stayed in his car, the cops would have been able to stop Martin and question him, known he had a can of iced tea and a bag of Skittles that anybody over the age of 18 wouldn’t . He wanted to get out of the rain.

During the trial, the defense attorney was haranguing the girlfriend, who wasn’t there , had the IQ of a 12 year old, weighed at least 200lbs,, asking what Trayvon had said to her when he called. She replied ,” He say he be scared cause some cracka be following him in a truck or somethin’ . The defense attorney kept attacking her, calling her a racist for referring to Zimmerman as a cracker. It was so absurd, given that Zimmerman had been referring to Martin and Black people collectively as ni^*ers. Obama’s constant race baiting pushed a lot of people over the edge. The Dems are very good at that. They played up the antisemitism card relentlessly and baselessly for years. Trump, DeSantis, Rubio, Bannon, Giuliani, Grenell, Flynn,Hannity and the most disgustingly to date, Musk and RFK Jr. until the Hamas attack. All of a sudden, it was okay to scream “ Kill the Jews”, “ Hitler’s Gould have finished the job, Queers For Hamas, Zionists are Pigs”…then they’re silent or marching with the jihadists, reverting back to “ racists, fascists, Nazis, White Supremacists, homophobes, xenophobes and drumroll… Islamophobes”.

A few months after Zimmerman was deemed not guilty, he beat the crap out of his wife and nearly choked her to death. He was a loose cannon. But I still hate Obama and the Dems, now more than ever. I’m Jewish and know the difference between real antisemitism , bitching about a Jewish guy and no antisemitism. The Democrats are virulent antisemites, including the self loathing fake Jews on the left. They have done more to create and legitimize dangerous antisemitism, racism , anti-Christian, anti-Hindu, anti-Asian and anti-White, anti-American, Russophobic hatred than any of the dumb-ass White Supremacists hiding out in their basements had done in at least six decades. Because they’ve exposed themselves as the disgusting agitators, racist propagandists they speciously accuse others of.

I am unimpressed with this action, although with a caveat: if this was done to smoke out people who are, have, and would be unwilling to do their jobs for political (or other) reasons

This would imply that Bondi (and others) know of or have a pretty good idea what is available, and whether they are receiving what is/was requested. It would also necessitate that a number of people will be exposed and fired, if not prosecuted.

Is this the case? I'd like to think so, but it's still early in the game, and not much has actually been seen as to what will be done. But if this is not falling into the category of laying a trap, it does not bode well.

I guess time will tell.

Good point! Definitely Bondi needs to look within her own house as well. And why she didn’t add 2+2 and come up with 4, that of course only 200 pages of documents stank like yesterday’s fish, is open to debate. As one commenter pointed out, her background certainly raises some concerns. Maybe she believes in the “most FBI are very good people” line.

There is at least one good person at the SDNY, who blew the whistle (thank God) and informed on the fact of the leadership there lying right to Bondi & Kash’s faces about the number of documents.

Righteous fury and consequences needs to rain down. Now.

This underwhelming release is one of the first indications that Trump’s team may not be top notch or may be compromised. There is likely a lot of horse trading going on with GOP legislators about trading their support for Trump agenda in exchange for shielding them from criminal prosecution. That’s politics.
