I discovered techno fog via Dan Bongino’s podcast. This article sadly seems like stanning for Bongino. Objectively looking at this version versus the blaze version and it’s pretty obvious that Mr. Cole has been set up as a Patsy the irony is, I think the Genesis of this Cole affair is intended to make Dan and Kash look bad. They’re underlings I believe sabotage them. Or at least Dan. Kash scenes more like he willingly opened himself for business.
The blaze outed the real perpetrator and they had to scramble to find something to distract from it. How did she get an ultra expensive democrat lawyer? Who paid for that?
How could Chris Wray possibly reveal that a non-partisan black man planted the bombs when he was saying all along that the biggest threat to America was white right-wing extremism?
If lying to the Feds will get you a jail sentence, and admitting to a crime will get you a jail sentence, what is the downside of lying to the Feds just in case they really do not have any hard proof you did the crime they are accusing you of? A guy (another loner) is bugged about the protests of the election, so starting right after the election he accumulates (and keeps the receipts) all the components of the device he wants to make, and he watches handy Youtubes that show him what to do. If I just listen to his account it seems he first realized all government is evil then upon further reflection concluded that government is a necessary evil. He ceased trying to fix things because like most of us violence isn’t the solution but what is the solution escapes our power of reasoning. The only possible solution I can think of is a constitutional convention not to rewrite it but fix obvious flaws. One flaw to me is that every law passed by congress should have immediate constitutional review by the Supreme Court. Not that the Supreme Court should have the fins say as to what is constitutional.
I find this believable as Cole was paranoid, dumb, and lucky. In denial, with self-rationalizing stories, then capitulates as evidence is revealed to him. Most crimes are committed by those not-very-bright, while Coles' act appears conspicuously conspiratorial, though only in hindsight. Add Wray's FBI who appears incompetent, politicized, and narrative-driven--a recipe for this sort of outcome.
The pre-trial memorandum need only outline a minimum of evidentiary findings to secure its objective for detention. In find it unlikely that Kash has any reason not to (eventually) expose the extent of any others' involvement.
