After the DOJ's tanking of the Sussman investigation and the D.C. Judges allowing Clinton donor's on the jury I think nothing will ever happen no matter who leaked what or anything done by the Democrats to rig this or any election.
It is over and the American people will either run the Democrat party from office at the voting booth or we will continue to drift into a nation run by insiders and bureaucrats. Elections seem to have become like 1930's show trials in the USSR -- just pap for public consumption. Any clean-up of the swamp will be like a major cancer surgery -- very messy and very traumatic. Possible but not probable.
Tracy Beanz and I recently broke a story confirming the FBI got a FISA on Gen. Flynn. But we speculate there was only one ever granted covering a 90 day period from late Aug thru late Nov 2016. So it would not have been in effect for the Kislyak call. But it would help explain why the unmaskings didn't start until Late Nov/Early Dec, and there were no unmaskings earlier during Crossfire Razor.
I saw that briefly, I need to spend more time in detail reading into FISA issue. Very thorough, well done. I recall The Guardian reporting in the summer of 2016 that the FBI applied for a FISA warrant on four members of the Trump team. FISC purportedly denied that. Does Guardian timeline (summer 2016) square with new facts?
I went and found the Guardian article and also the Heat Street article they were citing (it's defunct now, but found a pdf version I'll link below). Looks like they applied for a FISA with 4 named individuals in June 2016 related to Alfa Bank. It got turned down and they were told it had to be more narrowly focused. They came back in Oct and got a warrant on a single individual again related to Alfa Bank. That's gotta mean the Carter Page FISA.
I don't think Flynn ever came up in any of the Alfa Bank allegations, so I doubt he was one of the four named individuals in the June application. Honestly, it's more likely they got it for the FIG contract work for them to get him on FARA violations.
I've done reporting that it appears they were running spies into FIG as part of Crossfire Razor including Brian McCauley and Miles "Anonymous" Taylor. Grassley-Johnson sent a letter to Barr requesting declassification of Taylor's FBI 302 related to the Flynn because it was central to the Crossfire Razor Investigation. If you read the transcript of the Bijan Kian trial, Taylor was meeting with FIG inquiring about the Gülen investigation.
I think that's more likely the pretext they used or some other avenue related to Russia like the RT dinner and the Svetlana Lokhova allegations.

As great as all the official investigating may be, it's practically useless without the clarity you give it with a keen grasp of the players and subplots. Big time kudos and thanks for that but the prospect of ongoing FOIA is more exciting than kiddies waiting for Santa. :~)

I'm with the gloom and doomers. Even if Republicans end up with unstoppable majorities they likely won't be inclined to do anything. Two cheeks on the same butt. I feel like I'm living out Cabaret or Das Boot. The bureaucrats run the show. They and the corporations order contracts and laws from the showmen in politics. The public is so gullible and like me, never wanted to believe how far we have sunken. Knowing the truth is almost painful because of the public ignorance and lack of power to do anything about it. Thank you for the information. It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion but I can't stop looking.
