Those who are backing Cheney are people like Bush 1 & 2, Romney, Rove, and other neo-cons from the last 25 years who had fooled people into thinking that they were conservative. It seems that Trump, love or hate him, opened their eyes to what a semblance of conservatism is, and/or what more of it could be, and now people see that the emperor indeed had no clothes.
The others that support her are Democrats, and if that doesn't say something to some folks, nothing ever will.

To the US Congress, the Capital Police, and Law Enforcement, Ashli Babbit is a non-person without family and Friends.
