About time!!!

LET'S GET OUR BROKEN JUSTICE SYSTEM FIXED ASAP. Replace the crooked judges. Prosecute them.

Short ropes, and long drops. It is past time for Nuremburg 2.0. Start with Fauci. Gates can go next.

I would really like to see some of these abusers of power to be prosecuted for their lawfare.

ALL OF THEM SHOULD BE PROSECUTED. I BELIEVE THAT PRESIDENT TRUMP WILL HANDLE EACH OF THEM IN A SLOW AND STEADY MANNER.

Boomerang! The deep state just isn’t learning its lessons. What goes around comes around.

Thank you Techno for covering the with/without prejudice issue.

I'm shocked and disappointed that defendants Walt Nauta and Carlos will have to continue their appeal - the media seems to have skipped this. The Special Prosecutor's persecution of the "little" people throughout his reign has been completely overlooked and ignored.

I've puzzled over the need for "retribution" with regard to the SC. Ten years ago, the moderate in me would be wanting to move on from this very bad chapter in politics. But the hurt and harm that they've purposefully inflicted on everyday Americans who were naively caught up in this needs to be addressed. There's a sadistic streak in these people (the DOJ, the SC) that needs to be dealt with - I don't think Trump's DOJ needs to declare war on them but there must be some type of justice meted out so that a signal is sent.

I hope Trump pardons them as soon as he gets into office.

Techno is the best. Bar none.

It is pathological. "By any means necessary" is a guarantee that disturbed personalities will rise to the top.

By all means Trump should pardon himself if necessary. It was blatant lawfare.

Trump would know outcome of the 2028 election before his term ends. Presumably, he would see little need for a pardon if Vance or another Republican wins office. If the winner is a Democrat then I agree he may decide a pardon is prudent given his experience with the Biden administration.

Jumping Jack and Lois Lerner worked together at the IRS to prevent TRUE THE VOTE 501C application for a reason and when they got so hot it crushed her motherboard .

Unfortunately NONE of these criminals ever stand trial or go to jail so the only lesson learned is, keep slinging the mud, filing false charges and if you win, keep on. If you lose, you will be promoted for putting up the fight.

In the end, nothing changes and the taxpayer foots the bill.

I'm sick of it!

Isn't it disingenuous for Smith to cite the Constitution in his decision to quit?

Did he not know of this constitutional provision?

A Very Good Day; Happy Thanksgiving President Trump and First Lady.

Techno, I took the liberty to edit your brilliant report "It’s doubtful that President Trump will do Judge Chutkan any favors".

Hope you don't mind :-)

A total waste of over $55 million dollars of our tax dollars, hopefully after January 20th, we will see all these people investigated and held responsible for their crimes

Expand full comment

It wasn't innocent "waste" - it was deliberate misdirection of a Congressional appropriation for hiring an outsider and investing in him powers denied him by the Constitution and a deliberate circumvention of the requirement for Senate confirmation.

If Garland gets away with that, none of the Federal cash is safe.

BINGO!

Oh and since Jackass Smith left the door open to go after Trump when he leaves office, I say no pardons for Hunter or any of Biden crime family members. Elections have consequences!

Haste makes Waste.

Unbridled political zealotry does, too!

What a waste of tax payer money… ridiculous it could even go as far as it did… should have been dropped before it started… all unconstitutional. However, it accomplished the devious plan of spreading enough false propaganda against President Trump for normies to believe… disgusting.😔

I think if we knew the truth, the other ways our money is wasted would make $50 million look like peanuts. I have enormous confidence in the abilities of Vivek and Elon.

So much corruption and money laundering, and the average tax payer has paid for it all.

Well, at least this dispatches Jack(ass) Smith to the hinterlands for a few years.

After all the effort that went into that recently proffered bodice-ripper of filing, the United States concedes that dismissal is proper, and the federal trial court has agreed.

Many people harbor visceral contempt for Donald Trump.

Yet equally many, if not more, might pause to consider whether they ought not direct their ire toward the government's perversion of the law. The United States no longer has credibility before the nation's own courts.

This is not a good look for the Department of Justice.
