He sent a copy of a letter dated 05/17/2017 from the ethics people(Cyntia Shaw, director) (parts redacted) to Scott Schools, Associate Deputy AG saying (citing a law different than the SC law) even if there is conflics of interest, the needs of the government to have Mr . Mueller as SC outweigh the conflicts. Ms. Shaw proceeded to cite Mr. Mueller's resume rather than show any review of ethics or conflicts of interest investigation.. (Ethics and background check took less than a day ?)
Scott Schools wrote and hand delivered a letter to Mr. Mueller on 05/19/2017, saying Mueller was good to go after also citing Mueller's resume.

You might want to go back 60 year if you consider the following. President John F Kennedy threatened to "smash the CIA into 1,000 pieces" and George Bush Sr was most likely CIA from his college days. Some have concluded Bush Sr (CIA) was involved in the murder of Kennedy. If you study the Walsh Report on Iran/Contra, you'll learn the CIA was running drugs into Mena, Arkansas. That gives you a Bush/Clinton (Governor of Arkansas) connection. So when, toward the end of Bush Sr's first term as President, Casper Weinberger (and other) were going to go on trial over their Iran/Contra crimes, it would have blown the lid off of the Iran/Contra operation and, if Bush Sr had won a 2nd term, it's almost certain he would have been implicated and impeached. So, out of nowhere (and with the help of Ross Perot), William Jefferson Clinton, Bush Sr's partner in crime, becomes President of the USA and the Bush/Clinton Crime Family dominates, and corrupts, our government, right up to the present with the help of Obama and Biden. President Trump, threatening to expose it all, became about as popular as a hair in a biscuit and what we're seeing today is just a partial exposure of a coup d'état to stop President Trump and keep the criminals in power running the USA into the ground as they steal everything they can steal.
NOTE: William Barr was Bush Sr's Attorney General when Bush Sr. pardoned Weinberger and ended the Iran/Contra exposure and, like they're trying to do again today, hide it all from sight.

Did anybody ever find it peculiar that Mueller's team also never found it worth their time to interrogate Julian Assange regarding the origin (Seth Rich?) of Podesta's emails? Seemed kinda relevant to me.
This is precisely why the govt will keep Assange in perpetual legal limbo for the rest of his life -- he knows the source of the emails and you can bet it wasn't Russia. A reasonable argument can be made that the Georgia Tech crew analyzed the leak and concluded that it was an inside job. A Georgia FOIA request has already revealed the existence of a White Paper created by GT/Manos researchers for DARPA, despite DARPA claiming that it never hired GT to evaluate the hack/leak. There's someone in the Russiagate corner of Twitter (@foiafan, I think) who figured out that Georgia's FOIA statute allows a request for records to be filed against private individuals under some circumstances, and he has filed a case seeking production of records from the GT Manos group. Given the FBI's failure to meet the court-imposed deadline (last Friday) to produce Seth Rich records to Ty Clevanger, and DARPA having now been caught red-handed in a lie about working with GT to evaluate the source of the DNC breach, if these records ever see the light of day they are going to lead to some very difficult questions re Seth Rich.
