A short story - This summer, Cornell University instituted its COVID-19 vaccine mandate, giving students an August 2021 deadline to submit medical or religious exemptions. The students assumed the exemption process would be fair. They couldn’t have been more wrong.
"Medical standards"? I'd say that whatever "medical standards" that existed even 10 years ago are gone, and that those were pretty shabby to what they once were, or were once considered or hoped to be.
Money is the basic "medical standard" today; how much can be made by pharmaceutical companies, how much of that flows to doctors and 'medical experts', and how much one can lose by not playing the game. Our health is now simply a business concern, and many, many doctors and scientists are more beholden to Big Pharma than to any silly notions of "medical standards".
Can you point out exactly which medical standard the doctor violated? I have a similar situation with my daughter having an exemption. The schools doctor made a determination on her over riding her doctor and he has never met nor treated her. I would love to bring him up on charges.
How is what the Cornell Dr's doing any different than employers are doing by mandating the vax. They are implying that you are cleared to take an experimental vaccine.
