Fear is the fuel of the totalitarian machine. Those who resonate with fearlessness are the threat. Be the threat.

There is a significant difference between being "held hostage", and in not having the fortitude to do one's job, even in the face of opposition.

There is clearly an underlying threat to the court. But while that threat has resulted in some rulings and opinions that have been more aligned than most, that is also a clear signal that the court is hopelessly political already, issuing decisions and opinions based less on the law (or what is Constitutionally legal) than on personal politics and agenda(s). So, is such a court even worth saving?

And if one on the bench believes that it is, then how is the answer to avoid doing the hard job that the court was designed to do? In doing so, one actually gives into the (semi-)veiled threat by not taking on such cases that might get the court, in an unknown future time, packed with more justices. The avoidance of cases, attempting to 'protect the court', becomes meaningless; avoidance can only last so long before such a court exists and takes on cases that address the same issues, and decisions then made that are simple rubberstamps, advancing plainly unConstitutional laws and programs. Yay, the victory of spinelessness and ignominious cowardice showcased in an effort to appease the crocodile, so as to be eaten last. Well, clearly some might feel that to be a suitable epitaph...

Kavanaugh and Barrett are either too wet behind the ears, too fearful, or too submissive to the directives of Roberts, who is an awful Chief Justice; he should go down in history as the, or one of the, worst ever. If they can't, or won't, stand up for themselves, they're useless as jurists on the highest bench.

Honestly, while I didn't know much about Kavanaugh, I was never in favor of Barrett; I was hoping for Lagoa; I expect that she would have shown much more gumption than we've seen, or likely will see, from Barrett.

"Flake's decision came after he spoke to senators of both parties and withstood pressure from some Republicans not to take such a step. As he considered his course of action, Flake also had a conversation with Deputy Attorney General [Rod Rosenstein], who is in charge of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation."

Define 'Treason'.

The crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government.

Define 'Subversion'.

The act of subverting : the state of being subverted; especially : a systematic attempt to overthrow or undermine a government or political system by persons working secretly from within?

Think line of questions re: Sen. Graham > Justice K re: 'Enemy Combatants'.

It is my belief Kavanaugh and Barrett are being blackmailed by the deep state. I am completely disgusted by both of them as well as Roberts. It blows my my they would allow the election fraud to go untouched knowing this meant the democrats would eventually pack the court. When that happens they will be nothing more than warm bodies in the room with ZERO power. Their legacies will be absolutely meaningless. Why on earth would they allow that if they weren’t either part of it or being blackmailed by it?

Kavanaugh seemed weak to me during the hearings on his appointment, a touch of snowflake in him.

All three are also loyal Bushies and as such follow the lead of whatever direction longtime Bushie operative, John Roberts, leads them in... The faith might ring loud in Coney, but not as loud as whatever she's told to do by the Bushie brigade...

The only solution to the SCOTUS as well as Politicians is TERM LIMITS! Toss in no pension, no pay, and only authorized reimbursement for expenses and that will be a step in the right direction.

we have to be cunning all these rulings can go the other way if we get the house and senate next year let the socialist think they're winning now so they don't pack the court and then we'll pack the court with the right justice's next year.

We have a 3, 3, 3 court... It doesn't take conspiracy, deep state, blackmail or pedophiles..

3 liberals

3 republicans

3 conservatives

Take them for what they are.

No doubt Trump set these 2 up. They are deeply compromised and will be exposed soon. Both fit the profile of pedophile perfectly. One of them is catholic and adopted 2 kids from Haiti. The other played his sexual accuser at the confirmation trial.

Wait until we learn the truth.

trump was provided a list of judges by bitch mcconnel. considering how many times he goes out of his way to side with democrats and attack his former commander in chief its not surprising. recent articles describe democrats getting elected as republicans . brad raffensgurger and jordy fuchs were listed as clients. nowday nothing surprises me

Personally, I think they are compromised through IT /spying, and or like in the case of CJJR, compromised with the source legality issue with his adoptions and who may have potentially helped him.

Wow…so disappointed in Justice Barrett snd Justice Kavanaugh. I was so hopeful that these two judges would balance the scales of justice in America’s highest court! My prayers will continue to uplift them both that they understand this is a calling to a much higher power and playing into the hands of evil politicians is a grave injustice to their position, the American people and to the future of generations to follow! Please get a backbone for the sake of our children and grandchildren…🛐✝️🕊🇺🇸🦅
