My first experience with them came when that imbecilic peanut farmer REFUSED to sign the budget for FY 81 (1 Oct 80) and NO ONE got paid, with the exception of fifty USD amonth for "sanitary purposes," like haircuts and uniform maintenance. As the holiday season rolled around, we were told to "use our savings" for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Imagine this, you are stationed OCONUS and would like to go home for Christmas leave only you DO NOT have a paycheck to save for this from 1 Oct 80 to 16 Jan 81, when Ronaldus Magnus signed the "quad" and we got paid.
Many other incidents happened over the years, mainly with Democrat, but some RINOs like McCain but another excellent example is the Democrat Congcritter who came to Okinawa (name withheld because the varmint is still alive, more's the pity) for a fact-finding mission, from 1000 to 1400, and ate HIS lunch right in front of 50+ Marines, whose growling stomachs could likely be heard out on the grinder.
Perhaps the best one is when BJ Bubba Clinton and The Hildabeast came to Okinawa in 1999 and locked down the entire island! Active duty were told to wear their uniforms, no civvies allowed, NO ONE could leave their post, which sucked for the people living aboard Camp Courtney/Camp McTureous Towers as the PX/Commissary were located ON ANOTHER sub-camp!
I wonder how many of our troops will also be left behind on 8/31 because of lack of seats on aircraft or "threats" by ISIS-K, the Taliban or Al Queda? Not to mention our aircraft being shot down by the man-pads and other weapons the traitors Biden, Milley and Austen left behind.
To REALLY gauge the hatred and contempt that the Uniparty has for the military, Hanoi John Fonda Kerry AND RINO McCain left the POWs/MIAs in Vietnam. And the ONLY paper to get the story was a LEFTIST one.
Democrats deliberately chose this path. When Americans are allowed and left to be murdered because their hate of Trump is programmed and psychotic, it is up to the remaining Americans to end it. Spite drives these actions or non actions by the White House. Tyranny drives these insiders to program others with nonstop rage and nonstop lies. Trump started the mess, sorry to say, by nearly reaching an agreement with the Taliban which they clearly were violating and he did little as they moved soon in Nov, 20. At the time, the Taliban were cautious but I imagine Trump was preoccupied at the unbelievable election results so he did little in spite of Taliban aggression. As Jan, 21 approached and passed the Taliban pressed on understanding Biden would not act either, but they held off just enough to cement the May Trump date. In April, Biden pronounced that we were really going to leave but pushed the date out. The Taliban went to work taking over control in provinces, steadily gaining advances because Biden decided they wouldn't support the Afghan forces and was busy ending that support. It was during that point that somebody decided we would abandon Afghanistan in favor of Taliban rule. Why were we not informed we would turn over the country to the Taliban? Clearly the Afghan army was falling back from May onward minus the needed support. I imagine they understood their war was over, that the US was given them to the wolves. The pullout of Bagram (July 6, 21) was the final straw when Biden had to have been told more US troops were needed. Biden had never wanted to be there anyway and once he ignored the military need to beef up Bagram, the final surrender had been made consequences didn't matter.
