Embattled Fulton County District Attorney has admitted to a “personal relationship” – meaning a romantic and sexual relationship – with her subordinate Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor she appointed to prosecute Donald Trump and a host of other defendants for challenging the 2020 election.
According to an affidavit submitted by Wade, this relationship began in 2022 while the Fulton Grand jury investigating the 2020 election was conducting its official duties, and well before Trump, et al. were indicted on August 14, 2023. The month the relationship began is still unknown. And that would be an important date, considering Wade was appointed special prosecutor in November 2021.
This information was revealed today in the District Attorney’s response to a January 2024 motion from defendant Michael Roman (and the motions of others) which first alleged the scandalous affair.
And while Fani Willis sought to put this controversy to sleep with today’s filing, it actually raises more questions than answers and attempts to deceive the Court about the nature of her relationship with Nathan Wade.
