Concerning Russiagate, they are saying people can't be prosecuted because the statute of limitations has expired. My theory is IF the evidence was hidden via being classified, the statute of limitations clock should not have been ticking. Only after being declassified should said clock be ticking.

The burn bag thing is a great anecdote. When I worked in NSA Hawaii as a Navy E5, I only did burn bag duty once. It's such a crap job that's beneath even a lowly E5 to do it.
But you need a clearance to handle the papers too so it's a "crap" job that falls on some E-nothing to perform.
Chances are real good nobody in DC believed it was their job to do the burning and that's why it was forgotten.

No doubt in my mind that the DNI/DOJ can find recent ties to continuance of their RussiaGate collusion, let alone aligned collusions that would extend the statute of limitations.
